Pay's Air Service

Restoration

Kittyhawk

In 1984 Colin Pay purchased the Kittyhawk and there was a lot of work that needed to be done. Along with many areas of reconstruction for this aircraft a modification was performed on the fuel tanks creating a further 30 minutes endurance. The joining of the wings to the fuselage took place in 1988 and not until the end of 1989 did AK752 makes it's public appearance in Scone as VH-KTH.
This particular Kittyhawk served with the RCAF as 1028.

Kittyhawk

VH-KTH is no longer part of Pay's Warbird fleet. It now resides in the USA.
