De Havilland Tiger Moth

VH-PCL

The Tiger Moth (DH-82) was manufactured be De Havilland and first flew in 1931. It was primarily a trainer aircraft which had two seats. The first model had a120hp Gipsy III inverted inline engine but was soon upgraded to the Gipsy Major engine with 130hp. Later a C model was developed with 145hp.

VH-PCL was Pay's first spraying aircraft back in 1959 and is still in excellent condition and is mechanically sound. It no longer is a working aircraft but just a beautiful part of Pay's history taking its place only in air shows.
